I think the future is rooted in this attentiveness, this care, this presence, where Right Livelihood emerges from a symbiogenesis of communities with other communities. We can build the local AI systems that take the local community norm, for example one around climate justice for specific communities. Another community can train an AI system to attend to the biblical creation care. And we have worked to build social translation systems so that the machine can talk to this group of people and show that that group of people is also doing God’s work. This is an amplification for the broad listening technique that has shown its practice and effectiveness in Taiwan.
