I would also say that most people in Taiwan would not trust the government to run all this infrastructure. What we usually do is work with people like the g0v movement, so they also become a civic infrastructure. If you don’t trust the government’s wallet system for verifiable credentials, you can run the entire same thing in public code from your school or your church, and they still stay interoperable. The idea of digital civic infrastructure is also very important.
