Well, I mean, these are just ways for people to make better meeting summaries. These are not some magical tech platform that takes eons and a state to set up. They’re literally just polling mechanisms, right? One insight is that people are more sociable when they’re around other people. If you poll people individually, they tend to be on the extremes—like “N95-only mask” or “ventilation, no mask ever.” Or like when we polled people in California directly after the wildfire about mitigation and rebuild: some people are YIMBY (Yes In My Backyard), some people are NIMBY (Never In My Backyard). But if you poll people in groups of ten, everybody becomes MIMBY: “Okay, maybe in my backyard, if you do this, if you do that,” and so on.
