I’ll use a few examples. There was a 10-year-old boy who called 1922 saying, “You’re rationing masks, which is great, but all I got were pink masks, which is not so great because I’m a boy. I don’t want to wear pink; people will laugh at me.” Instead of the Ministry of Education just saying that’s bullying (which never works), at the next 2 PM daily CECC press conference, all the officers wore pink, regardless of gender. We also worked with online brands, and they all turned pink. Suddenly, the boy was the only one with the limited-edition mask that all the heroes wear. That really depolarized society.
