My position is called “Cyber Ambassador”—“Cyber” meaning “Cybernetics.” Cybernetics is about steering a ship—the ability to steer. With cybernetics—the ability to steer—you can ask everyone: “If we continue in this direction, what are the consequences?” Through sense-making and broad listening, we collectively map out what’s ahead. After mapping it out, we can naturally seek opportunities and avoid dangers, correcting technology’s direction.
