As mentioned earlier, this all depends on your “steering” ability. If you have a car with a steering wheel that barely turns, you’ll drive a bit, suddenly hit a wall, or discover a cliff ahead and have to brake quickly, then turn slightly and try a new direction. But with a responsive steering wheel, you don’t have this problem.
