Our main metric, our core value is trust , trust between the people caring about the economy, environment, and society, as well as the trust a public administration place on the people. That is to say, the government has to trust people first.
Our national education doesn’t trust the states. Then, the state level doesn’t trust the district level. The district levels don’t trust their principals. The principals don’t trust their teachers, and no one trusts the kids. What I mean by trust the kids is that there’s no fundamental faith that kids want to learn, [laughs] which seems the most crazy part of the system.
If we trust the citizens, some of the citizens may trust back, of course. Not all will trust back. Some will decide to still hold us to account by demanding explanations. They are exactly as contributor as the people who reciprocate with trust .
Definitely. I would add to that that is not about me being a trusted figure. I don’t think of things that way. It’s more like an infrastructure to enable mutual trust because to give no trust is to get no trust .
Thank you, thank you. I like it how you say you trust the citizens, because in Europe, you always say trust the government. We don’t talk about how the government trusts its citizens. We always talk about not trusting the government.
Yeah, nobody trusts me anymore.
Trust , but verify.
為什麼 trust chain 是綠色的?(笑)
這會有一個問題是,沒有人相信什麼東西是真的,很多人說media trust會降低 ,都會說所有的東西是動新聞。
This is how the citizen can build trust with each other without blindly trusting the government. That is how the government can trust the citizens more. I think the only data that you can trust really is the data that you participate in creating.
It’s about listening, and it’s about trust . It’s about the government trusting the people without requiring the people trusting back. All the digital technologies is here just to amplify the trust that people can get in a face-to-face setting.
How would you know? You would demand explanations, and that means accountability. The accountability framework earns the trust , and if we earn the trust of citizens, citizens make trust back somewhat.
Trust is something that can’t be commanded. The government need to trust the citizens, whereas before, the government doesn’t trust at all, saying it would be populism, or something.
Trust of the government is very important and that trust of the citizens is also important, very important.
The people’s trust in the government should be directly proportional of how much the government trusts citizens.
This fast iteration and accountability builds trust to all the citizens. Citizens feel trusted by the governments. Some people trust back. Some people don’t, which is all fine. The people who trust back offered to check in, for example, in the venues using their phone.
Yeah. My original research topic back when I was 15 years old was swift trust , so sure. [laughs] I mean, swift means high velocity, and trust is the currency that we operate in to give no trust is to get no trust , I would agree. Yes.
