No, definitely. And this goes straight into the 2012 like blended volition extrapolate volition debate. Because the blended volition school, which I’m a part of, basically says individuals are never a good unit to elicit value. People exist in intersectional groups in plural publics and these plural publics that are the fundamental units of analysis when it comes to outcome preferences. And so like an individual in different group contexts would have vastly different outcome preferences and each person belongs to multiple such communities anyway.
