The current digital landscape, as many of you know, does not offer freedom of movement. We’re like drivers on the Information Superhighway of social media with no off-ramp and on-ramp. So, think about it. A highway with no off and on-ramp is a hamster wheel. Once you get on, there’s no way to get off. Otherwise, you lose your relationships, your connections, your communities. So we need protocols of off-ramp and on-ramp for freedom of movement. Think about how you keep your phone number when you switch from one telecom provider to the other. This is called number portability. We need the same for our digital lives with social media, with AI, with all the platforms.
