We adapted, and then we evolved into what I call a “geothermal” way of facing conflicts. As some of you know, Taiwan is the youngest tectonic island in the world, only 4 million years old. And we see the conflicts not as a volcano from which to retreat, but rather listening deeply to the earth in the social fabric sense, we can convert the heat into powerful co-creative energy for renewal. And so, the anti-social corner of social media can be built into pro-social architecture. And so instead of a destructive fire to be extinguished, we can transform the plate-against-plate collision so that Taiwan rises ever skyward and starward.
