Before I hand over to the screening and the lecture, I would like to say a few words about Audrey Tang as well. I’m delighted that you are here with us this evening because not only is your work extremely important, but you are also a very positive and humorous person. “Humor over rumor” is one of your mottos. In an interview you said, “Think of something that is funny, spreads quickly and takes the oxygen out of polarization.” And I think in a world characterized by general fear, doomsday scenarios, and dystopias, humor has taken on enormous political significance. This also applies to the field of new technologies, which are often perceived only as threatening. I am now very much looking forward to your presentation and will give you the floor after the film without further ado. Thank you.
