Yeah, that’s a great question. I think in Taiwan, there’s a lot of sousveillance going on. That is to say, people take live footage of the government and public sector doing things wrong in real time, too. It’s not just, as in some other countries, the state apparatus making the citizens transparent to the state; rather, at any given time, you have a lot of civic journalists.
