Okay, that’s a great question. In Taiwan, we focused mostly on, as I mentioned, the linguistic work across the public sector: summarization, topicalization, translation across our national languages, and so on. The thing is, if you know what you’re doing, you do not actually need huge models for any of these particular tasks. You don’t need a super language model that has memorized the Studio Ghibli repertoire just to translate between two national languages.
