Sure. I think if there’s only one thing people can learn, it is that democracy can be fast, fair, and fun. You don’t need to make a trade-off. There are a lot of ways now, thanks to digital technology, that you do not have to just make democracy exciting for a narrow slice of people. Neither do you need to make a broad statement but only have five words to work with. It is now eminently possible to poll people in groups and get the common ground—the “uncommon ground”—across different communities in a way that does not lose the nuance.
