Well, my pronouns are “whatever,” so this also works in English. I think it’s interesting that many people see online conversations as so polarized because they get caught up on the specific ways words are used. I used the example earlier of “climate justice” versus “creation care.” If you actually look at these two communities, their concrete policy proposals are probably the same. But just because they’re using different words, it becomes very difficult to talk ostensibly with one another.
