At the ALife conference, Blaise Agüera y Arcas presented a new unified theory of symbiogenesis that can appear singleton-ish on the outset, but multipolar-ish on the inset. A lot of things seem to be converging. In Kyoto, they have a new Artificial Life Institute exploring these technical details. We also discussed a simulator called Metta that plugs into the standard Gymnasium API. I’m happy to talk about the technical part.
