Once you listen across a wider social distance, you need mediators. You need translators.You need people who inform people of very different backgrounds of what is commonly at stake, and this gets progressively harder the larger your policies are. But now this year we already see politics larger than Taiwan trying out these methods of broad listening and very successfully.
