It is quite unique in Taiwan that unlike in Japan, the information manipulators can easily find mass media journalistic outlets that will just publish whatever a/b tested potent memes they just discovered. They don’t even need to spearfish or coerce journalists. Journalists will just say that, oh, a source says this, and this is obviously machine generated, simplified mandarin nonsense, and national newspapers will still print it.
