So manipulators, they stand to gain this or that. On the other hand, cross border scamming is the lower risk of all those different persuasion attacks. Everything else, if it’s attributed, if it is discovered and so on, it stands a chance of backfiring. But because scamming works on an individual to individual fashion, it’s not viral in the sense that the scammed persons, pyramid schemes notwithstanding, don’t turn around and scam other people.
