The STIX format was originally used for cybersecurity threat indicator sharing, like when our computer gets hacked in, we’re using some zero-day vulnerability, even though it’s stopped by some other measures, we will use STIX to notify our democratic allies, so that when the attacker goes to their machine, that’s already patched or updated.
