So, I’m a researcher working at OpenAI’s geopolitics team, which is housed under the broader policy research team. And the policy research team essentially looks at understanding the current and potential impact of OpenAI on the world and for recommending the best possible policies for dealing with advanced AI capabilities. Our work is both internal facing, informing OpenAI, and also external facing, meant to inform all of the important actors and entities in the space.
