All that to say, my starting point for this project was to build a quality measure for news based on how that website has gone about optimizing their content for traffic and about monetizing it, and explicitly avoiding anything to do with fact-checking or political bias. Those are all just huge emotional triggers that will be very difficult to communicate to somebody that doesn’t want to hear them.
